One of the great things about shooting in SoCal is that you can bounce from the grandeur of the huge rocks at El Matador Beach to a downtown vibe in Malibu in just a few minutes… in February! Beautiful Olivia Chatfield flew in from Michigan to shoot her high school senior photo session with me, and we took full advantage of the warm Los Angeles winter. I was excited to capture her love of fashion, friendly attitude, and genuine laid back nature, and she wanted two looks: urban and beach. So we headed out to Malibu for all that and more!

A great photo shoot. Excellent settings, perfect lighting and subject sensitivity that portrays this girl as much more than her physical beauty. I love the look you’ve captured in the second of the monochrome shots & the wonderful softness of the last in the series.
