St. Francis de Sales Church in Sherman Oaks is not only architecturally stunning but also offers a serene atmosphere that sets the perfect tone for a wedding ceremony. The church, nestled among quiet streets, feels peaceful and inviting.
When I arrived, I was the first one there and, for a moment, wasn’t sure if I was in the right place. The friendly priest noticed me and, with a warm smile, welcomed me inside and gave me a quick tour of the space. His lighthearted and comedic nature instantly made me feel at ease, and I knew the couple would be in good hands for their special day.
Before the ceremony, I had the chance to meet both the bride and groom. The bride arrived early, bubbling with excitement, while the groom entered soon after with a mix of anticipation and joy. Watching them prepare separately for the ceremony was a beautiful glimpse into their personalities and the love they shared.
When the time came, the ceremony unfolded flawlessly. The priest guided them step by step, mixing spiritual guidance with a touch of humor, creating a relaxed and heartfelt atmosphere. Throughout the ceremony, the couple smiled and laughed, clearly enjoying the moment and the presence of their closest friends and family. It was a perfect reflection of their love, and I was honored to capture it all.
Afterwards, we moved on to the group photos, which turned out beautifully, capturing the joy and togetherness of the day. Then, I photographed the bride and groom in timeless, elegant portraits, highlighting their connection and love in warm embraces that felt as natural as they were beautiful.
